Undergraduate Program

BEBI-2026 will host a shadowing/mentoring/volunteer program for 12 selected undergraduates presently studying biomedical engineering.
• Students are paired with a faculty participant from our IOC or Keynote for the duration of the conference.
• Students volunteer for 8 h of service at the conference.
Student volunteers are important to the success of the BEBI Congress. Volunteers support a positive experience for all attendees. Student volunteers will receive on-site training to participate in wayfinding, providing guidance to participants seeking their meeting rooms, providing general directions, and provide technical support (projector, microphone, and computer support within the meeting rooms).
Student shadows/mentees/volunteers will register and pay the student registration fee of $399.00. Upon completion of the 8h shadowing/volunteer experience, students will receive a travel award valued at $300.00, thereby making the final cost of attendance just $99.00.
TO APPLY: Send a single PDF package comprising: i) Letter – “Why I want to shadow/be mentored/ volunteer at BEBI-2026” signed by applicant and countersigned by your academic advisor, and ii) a copy of your un-official academic transcript.
