International participants attending the conference in the United States may need to obtain a visa, unless they are eligible under the VISA WAIVER PROGRAM (VWP) or another exemption.
Citizens of most EU and Schengen Area countries, as well as Australia, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and several others, may travel to the U.S. without a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism, business, or conference attendance—provided they obtain an approved ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) prior to travel.
Canadian citizens generally do not require a visa or ESTA for short visits related to business or conferences. However, they must carry valid travel documentation. Different rules apply to Canadian permanent residents, who may require a visa.
Participants from countries not covered by the Visa Waiver Program will likely need to apply for a B-1 (Business Visitor) visa to attend the conference.
